Tudom, hogy a tradíció fontos szerepet játszik a cég működésében, mivel ez már a negyedik generáció aki tovább viszi a Juhos nevet. Mindig szeretted a cipőket?

Since yours is the fourth generation that takes on the name "Juhos", it’s obvious that tradition plays a major part in the operation of the company. Have you always loved shoes?

BI: Igen, valóban a negyedik generáció "volnék"... Dédnagyapám alapította a céget, 1910-ben, óbudán... majd nagyapámra, onnan Édesanyámra szállt és napjainkban közösen visszük tovább a céget... A cipők kiskoromban nem igazán érdekeltek, de miután a középiskolai tanulémányaimat a volt Simon Ferenc szakközépiskolában kezdtem meg, érdeklődésem egyre nőtt a lábbelik iránt...

BI: Mine is the fourth generation indeed... my great-grandpa established the company in Óbuda, in 1910. Then the heritage passed to my grandpa and then my mother. Nowadays, we operate the company together. I haven’t been interested in shoes when I was a child, but after entering the Simon Ferenc Secondary School, my interest towards them has grown.

Na jó komolyabban....

-Elsődleges hogy viselője maximálisan kényelmesnek érezze a lábbelit.

Mintha a lábára öntötték volna - Fontos, hogy passzojon az egyéniségéhez, stílusához.... Akármilyen szép vagy drága cipőt vehet fel valaki, ha nem illik hozzá.

-Tökéletesen kiegészítse a ruházatát... Túlzás lenne azt mondani, hogy a cipő a legfontosabb, de ugyanúgy számít, mint egy, a ruhához tökéletesen illeszkedő táska, öv vagy kesztyű.

Okay, seriously.

- Primarily, you need to be comfortable in them, like they are the perfect fit.

- It’s important that it fits your personality and style. You could wear the most beautiful and expensive shoes, if they don’t fit you, that just won’t work.

- They need to complement your clothing. It would be too much to say that shoes are the most important part; however, they count just like a bag, a belt or gloves that match your clothes.

Ki a kedvenc nemzetközi cipőterveződ?

Who is your favourite shoe designer?

BI: Ezen nem is gondolkoztam! Minden tervezőnek vannak szép modelljei, kollekciói. Mindegyik tervező cipőiből lehet ihletet meríteni... Kedvelem Miu-Miu, Ralph Lauren és Vivienne Westwood cipőit és még sok másikat is....

BI: I haven’t thought about that yet! All the designers have some beautiful models. You can take inspiration from the designs of all designers. I like the shoes of Miu Miu, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood and much more.

Melyik a kedvenc lábbelid az aktuális szezon darabjaiból és miért?

Which shoes are your favourite from your current collection and why?

BI: Nyilvánvalóan mindegyiket szeretem és büszke vagyok rájuk, de ha mindenképpen választanom kéne a fekete-középszürke-világosszürke stircelt bokacsizmát ( a színvilága miatt) és a hegyesorrú, magas, fűzős keki csizmát emelném ki.

BI: Obviously, I love and am really proud of all of them, but if I had to choose one, I would say, I love the black-middle gray-light gray ankle boots (because of their colors) and the pointed toe, high-heeled, lace-up khaki boots the most.

Melyik cipőt ajánlanád a kollekciótokból a gazdasági válság idején?

Which shoes from your collection would you recommend in times of the economical downturn?

BI: Bármelyiket ami megtetszik a vevőinknek. Mivel bőr felsőrésszel, béléssel és talppal készülnek, véleményem szerint sokkal tartósabb viseletek mint egyes boltokban árult szezonális viseletek. Inkább azt mondanám, olyan lábbelit ajánlatos rendelni, ami nem egy ruhához készíttetnek, hanem több viselethez is fel lehet venni. Például egy fekete csizma aminek a formavilága, vágása, sarka miatt divatos és nem a színe miatt...

BI: Whichever of our shoes our customers like. Since they are made with leather uppers, lining and soles, they are long-lasting as opposed to some of the seasonal pieces in shops. I would rather say, you need to order shoes that match most of your clothes. A pair of black boots, for example, that is fashionable in its form, cut and heels not in its color.
