Copy Cat

Hello sweeties,

This actually is the copy cat post about one of my older posts, because newest thrifted purchases will keep me cozy on last days of winter and cheaper of course what is most important, is not? Again and again - animal inspired Dorothy Perkins sweater (from 2011) and a huge bargain of a long-sleeved cotton top from Joseph.

I have admit I don not buy expensive clothing - hardly ever. I am not saying it does not happen to find something brilliant and luxury at my favorite vintage- or second hand stores. If they do; they are designer things then these come from ebay, outlets or second hand stores - in super low - fraction of the original - price. But mostly expensive items I purchase are my bags, shoes, accessories and jewelery. Most of my clothes are from inditex brands and vintage stores that are reasonably priced. I enjoy wearing a pair of exclusive shoes while rocking cheaper clothes. Now I am also wearing a black Topshop coat, grey Tsumori Chisato grandpa cardi with printed dress from Primark, blue-ish belt by Maison Martin Margiela, black tights with boots and carrying a Rolls Royce Marc Jacobs clutch. I spiced with handmade two snoods - red and grey, Minimarket riding hat, Prada plexi watch and Matina Amanita silver owl ring, Maria Francesca Pepe ring and Bimba & Lola ring. The point is that these clothes would be soft material such as in cotton, silk or cashmere.

  6. I seem to be embracing the same philosophy. I've always loved vintage and second hand, though raiding my mother's and granny's closed was my idea of a vintage until fairly recently. ( To be fair we haven't had good second hand and vintage shops where I'm from until a few years ago) Lately I'm always on a lookout for shoes. I think that shoes are worth investing our money because their quality can have an impact on our health (not to say appearance and posture). I find it fascinating how accessories can make our outfit...and I cannot afford to rent a flat just for clothes like Anna della Russo. What I look for in clothes is often the material...I like wool, silk and soft materials.

  7. What a gorgeous swan printed sweater! I too don´t buy expensive clothing though you already know that. I´d rather spend the money visiting other places. ;)
