The Icelandic Unnur Fridriksdottir, founded the company UNNURWEAR, in 2006, making high quality handbags, accessories and clothing for fashion forward women all over the world.




You can check out their MEN collection too...I think these are incredible!






Unnur has in this short time won innovation awards for her entrepreneur visions and designs. In summer 2007 Unnur’s handbags were displayed in Iceland’s largest design exhibition to date, Magma/Kvika, at Kjarvalsstadir Art Museum in Reykjavik.



Unnur’s specialty is using sea-leather in her handbags...yes FISH! The fish being used in the current collections is farm grown Icelandic Salmon and farm grown African Perch. After all the name UNNUR means in Icelandic "the waves of the ocean". Reminds me of the Devi Kroell's exotic creations.




In using sea-leather UNNURWEAR is contributing to sustainable fashion, and not endangering any species. There is nothing fishy about that!

The sea-leather smells like regular leather, and the more it’s worn - the better it looks!

My first Chanel skirt

Mindenki tudja, hogy Chanel nagy rajongója vagyok. Mindig keresem a nagy lehetőségeket a megengedhető és elfogadható árakat. Amire leltem, az egy igen finom és jól kidolgozott darab. Luxus érzés és időállóság! Sok ember mindezt öregesnek gondolja. Az én kombinációm csak egy farmer dzsekiből (See by Chloe) és egy fehér topból fog állni. Még ezek után is öregesnek gondolsz egy ilyen tweed szoknyát?

Everybody knows that I'm a Chanel fan. I am looking for the good bargains and I found this out. What kind of delicate and DETAILS: make up. Luxury and enduring piece. Many people consider it as oldish. My combination will be a white top and a See by Chloe denim jacket to it currently. Do you consider it as oldish even after these?

Alain Mikli - Delfina Delettrez

The young and talented Delfina Delettrez (click - that's her) is taking her love of the bizarre and extreme to the next level. Her new line of limited-edition sunglasses go on sale in February 2009 at Colette in Paris, and in all Alain Mikli boutiques in France and London. And given Delfina's unstoppable success and devout cult following, you can bet these great indeed will be very expensive. (650-2500 Euro) J'adore it! Alain Mikli is one of my favourite sunglasses/glasses designer and Delfina Delettrez so much speciel and extreme jewellery designer. Oh, my God!

A fiatal ékszervertervező, Delfina Delettrez (katt rá - íme) kapta meg a lehetőséget, hogy bizarr és extrém ékszerekkel lássa el Alain Mikli limitált szériás napszemüvegeit. 2009 februárjában kerülnek a Colette és Alain Mikli párizsi és londoni butikjainak a polcaira. Egy ilyen különleges darab birtoklásánál akár 650-2500 euróig is nyílhat a pénztárcánk. (Már, ha futja!)
Személy szerint odáig vagyok értük. Alain Mikli az egyik kedvenc napszemüveg/szemüveg tervezőm és Delfina Delettrez annyira egyedülálló ékszertervező! Oh, Istenem!

Tavaszváró balerina/Spring waiting ballerina

A tavaszváró balerinám ma reggel megérkezett. Tegnap éjszaka dolgozóban voltam, úgyhogy elnézéseteket kérem a pizsamás fotóért. :) Széles vigyor ült a pofikámon. Nagyon boldog vagyok. Nagyszerű vétel! Hmmm? Gyorsan meg is örökítettem nektek!

Chrissie Morris

Emlékeztek amikor írtam az egyik legfelkapottabb új angol üdvöskéről a cipőtervezés terén?

Igen, igen! Ő volt: Nicholas Kirkwood.

Most egy hasonló tehetségről ejtenék pár szót - akiért a közelmúltban lettem odáig és vissza! Nem marad el a végén a gyönyörködés se, de azért remélem olvasni is érdemes "engem". A szöveg JC Report, Erin Magner riportjából is táplálkozik.

Egy bizonyos pontnál egy cipő már több, mint ami a hivatalos célja! Műalkotássá válik a mívessége az anyaga és a díszítése által. Chrissie Morris cipői is ilyenek - igazi mesterművek.

Chrissie Morris is alig egy éve debütált a cipőiparban és a cipőgyártás Mekkájában - Itáliában (Milánó) tanulta ki a mesterséget.

Tanulmányok: Liverpool John Moores University (azonban nem a cipőkészítés volt a szakiránya, hanem a kötöttáru)

Az egyetem után Milánóba ment a mesterséget gyakorolni, de olyan fordulatot vett, hogy az ottani bőrök "szerelmesévé" vált. Mit mondhatnánk - hála Istennek! Kár lett volna, ezért az igazi tehetségért, ha nem ajándékoz meg minket ilyen darabokkal! (már csak a szemnek is simogató a látványuk, milyen lehet a lábunkon tudni?)

A két mesterséget nem is akarja elválasztani - még gondolatban sem - Chrissie Morris. Mind a kötöttárunál, mind a cipőtervezésnél minden a részleteken múlik.

2007-ben a spanyol Sinela Gallery saját cipőtervezőjének bérelte fel, de a neve alatt adhatta ki a cipőit.
