So I am not a big fan of Louis Vuitton, indeed; I see too many of their bags with logos on the streets let it be fake or not, I say have not some cool, but sure so it also is worth to Louis Vuitton and what a huge legendary Fashion House still. But definitely I love their vintage trunks and clothes especially what I saw in S/S 11 collection.
Now I talk about trunks because this book showcases the most legendary creations of the House; includes more than 800 photographs; most iconic, often unique and limited edition pieces for example those boxes made for movie stars Douglas Fairbanks to Sharon Stone and couturiers from Jeanne Lanvin to Karl Lagerfeld, as well as cases designed for Ernest Hemingway, Leopold Stokowski, and Damien Hirst.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you when you say that there are to many LV bags around, but when it comes about vintage luggages or trunks, there is no doubt they are the best of all the time...I wish I could have a LV trunks as cabinet for my dresses!!! beautiful selection of pictures,great post!

ReplyDelete@Dexter - Van benne valami, nekem a nagyon régi LV ládikák tetszenek,ami még nem is monogrammal díszített. :) Éjjeliszekrénynél hópofa lenne. :D
